Kanata Community Christian Reformed Church
KANATA COMMUNITY
We are located in the community of Kanata in the city of Ottawa. We seek to serve our community with a place to come together and worship our Lord Jesus Christ.
CHRISTIAN
We call ourselves Christian because we believe in Jesus Christ as our Saviour and proclaim salvation by grace alone through our faith in Jesus, and now we seek to obey Him in all of life.
REFORMED
As in the Protestant Reformation, we call ourselves Reformed because we believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, and that the person whose heart is open to the gospel must learn to reform and conduct his whole life according to the Word of God.
CHURCH
We call ourselves a Church because we confess that those who are believers in Christ are part of the fellowship of believers who show their oneness in their desire to praise and serve Him together and to provide Christian service in their community.
OUR EMBLEM
Our emblem is the cross in a triangle. The triangle represents the Trinity, our belief in the one God we know as three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The cross symbolizes our belief in Jesus Christ's sacrificial death for our salvation.
