KANATA
GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting The Saviour)
is a
club for girls in grades 3-8. They do many activities including Bible
Studies,
badges, crafts, and outings. They meet every Tuesday evening from 7 -
8:30
pm from the end of September until April.

Each
year the ministry focuses on an annual theme. The theme for 2006-2007
is Livin' the Secret! Having a Thankful Heart based on
three verses:
Philippians
4:12, I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is
to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any
and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living
in plenty or in want.

Thessalonians 5: 18, Give thanks in all circumstances, for this
is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
